Aida refuses her son Hesham's marriage to Zoba because of the social difference between them, but he insists on her. Aida pretends to be crazy until her son submits to her desire and becomes engaged to his cousin Thanaa, who is studying in Paris. She resorts to the sorcerer Jinjal and his partner Basima and agrees with them to perform magic to separate the two lovers and prevent their marriage, but they in turn sympathize with the two lovers.
