Ahmed, the prosecutor, enters into a conflict with his friend, Omar Raafat, the contractor, who covets Nemat, Ahmed's fiancée, and conspires to break off the engagement so he can marry her. Ahmed suffers a severe psychological shock that leads to him suffering from a split personality, so he defends the law in the morning and turns into a criminal character called the Prince in the evening.
